Single #1

They say terms like "NEW" should not be included in the title so hastily, but as soon as you play this music, your ears are instantly sucked into the intro that is layered with Taeyeon's low and deep voice. It's definitely new from the first impression! In the meantime, Taeyeon has without a doubt displayed her vocal ability by perfectly singing songs of various genres with solo albums of different styles such as 'I', 'Why', 'Fine', and of course drama OSTs. Even in Taeyeon's position, one can continue doing well in what they are good at. As if there are still more voices to look forward to in her 10th year since debut, Taeyeon extends her domain through this song by expanding her singing style in a completely different direction from before.

If the previous songs were pop-oriented and focused on emitting cool and bright summer energy type high notes, this time she displays soul-searching heavy vocals that are like winter's evening lights. A simple melody that emphasizes and makes Taeyeon's sophisticated and attractive voice stand out. Taeyeon's powerful and familiar high notes and the chorus displaying many different genres in the song make the song richer and more dramatic. Every part of the song displays confidence in her voice. As expected, it's Taeyeon who you can trust and listen to. The flurry of various interpretations of the music video also adds to the enjoyment of the song. Be sure to listen to this song if you want to see her growing appearance from a vocalist to an artist.
