[IDOLOGY] Taeyeon - 'Four Seasons' Single Review (2019)

Mysterious suspense is created as she sings the song with a calm tone and her signature tensed vocal. This goes beyond dragging the song without making it boring and finally completing it. On top of the serene heart of acknowledging 'You were the whole world', no one can express the ripples caused by the thrown pebble 'Did I really love you?' more effectively than Taeyeon. The b-side track "Blue" shares the emotions that follow "Four Seasons", as it paints the scene of the pebble sinking into the abyss. So both songs are quite enjoyable to listen to. It's a rare single with a solid organic concept, even though it only has 2 songs.
