The first of Girls' Generation to hold a solo concert, the first Korean solo female artist to hold a solo concert in Thailand, the first solo female singer to hold 3 shows in Taiwan. Singer Taeyeon's first history is newly written.

Taeyeon debuted in 2007 as the main vocal with girl group Girls' Generation. "Into The New World", "Gee", "Genie", "Oh!", "Hoot", "Party", "Lion Heart", and many hit songs are left behind that live up the reputation of becoming the strongest girl group. In 2008, starting with KBS 2TV's "Hong Gil Song" OST 'If', MBC's "Beethoven Virus" OST 'Can You Hear Me', and SBS' "That Winter, The Wind Blows" OST 'And One', she sang many OSTs that established her as a solo vocalist. In 2012, with Girls' Generation's Tiffany and Seohyun, the first unit 'Girls' Generation-TaeTiSeo' was formed, shortly after the first mini-album 'TWINKLE' was announced, it hit a record of dominating ever album and digital chart. In 2014 too, she participated in SM's ballad project and set her 'Breath' in tune with SHINee's Jonghyun.

Like this, Taeyeon, who steadily built up her portfolio as a vocalist, released her first solo album 'I' in 2015, the first solo album to be released from a Girls' Generation member after 8 years since debut. The title song 'I' got an all-kill on 8 music charts. In the following year, she released her second mini-album 'Why' and a digital single '11:11', and once again continued holding the record of a "Digital Queen". Also after her debut, she successfully held her first solo concert 'Butterfly Kiss', which reconfirmed her global status and popularity.

This year in February, Taeyeon released her first solo full album 'My Voice' after 10 years of debut. At that time, in addition to being ranked #1 in the country on many music charts, she ranked #1 in iTunes' Overall Album Chart, she ranked #2 in Billboard's World Album Chart. It gained a large response not only domestically, but overseas as well. In particular, not just the song 'Fine', but up to the bonus song 'Time Spent Walking Through Memories', all the songs were filled with Taeyeon's voice; they didn't contain any features, and she received a lot of praise.

In May, Taeyeon's second solo concert titled 'Taeyeon Solo Concert 'PERSONA'' was open for 3 days and she held various stages for 9,000 fans. Taeyeon held her Asia Tour starting with Seoul, then Taipei, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. For the shows in these 4 regions, all seats were sold out at the time the ticket sales opened. Particularly in Taiwan, she set a new record as the first non-Taiwanese female singer to hold 3 shows. She is the first Korean solo female singer to hold a concert in Thailand, proving her potential as a vocalist by setting records.

For a short period of time, in 2 years, as if she found (and wore) the right clothes that fit her, Taeyeon made her musical individuality distinct through her solo activities. Rather than being impatient with a desire to try a new attempt, 'I', followed by 'Why', to 'My Voice' in the following albums she steadily documented her musical growth. Taeyeon's explosive singing ability and her sophisticated melody, the combination of her fresh sound that pleases a listener's ears, from the album concept to the music video, from makeup, to the hairstyle, Taeyeon's initiative mixed with her ability to execute genres is pleasing to the eyes of the viewers.

Filling up 120 minutes of performances on her own without a guest, 13 songs without features and filled only with her own voice, Taeyeon's greed was possible because of her confidence in herself and in her music, by doing this Taeyeon accomplished that. 'Taeyeon who you can trust and listen to," I am looking forward and waiting for the next album that will be put out by Taeyeon, who with a fresh image, used to kick in the air (ITNW choreography) as a member of Girls' Generation, but now stands tall as an irreplaceable vocalist.
